Ah, I know what you mean. While it's always a bit melancholy to end the Slicing, it is balanced by the realization that we have accomplished the task of writing every day (or nearly every day). A good feeling, as you note.

The middle schoolers finished their state projects. The gym is decorated for the annual banquet. The term is ending. I've sliced for 31 of 31 days.
